Hi Kristin -

Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the ranch and the hunt. You've got a special place there. Ike did a great job. I'd hunt with him again anytime. The weather was lousy (full moon, still at night, extremely windy during the day), but in spite of that we saw several nice bucks, including one absolute monster. I'm not saying where he was, because I'm going to try and come back next year, hoping he's still there :)

Given the weather and my tight schedule, I "settled" for what Ike said was a small buck by your standards, but a pretty nice one by mine, especially compared to deer in the hill country where I've done most of my hunting. A picture is attached. He wasn't the best buck we saw, but he presented the best opportunity to make a clean kill. I could have taken shots at a few others, but the conditions were marginal, and I didn't want to take a chance on wounding an animal.

Once again, thanks for a truly enjoyable experience. I hope to do it again.

Thank you very much for your comments, I had a great time and I was very lucky in taking this tremendous trophy... I am very proud of it. You have a great organization and I really enjoyed the company of your staff and the whole experience. I will send you the pictures of the Blackbuck when I get them.

Yes, I am a SCI member and once we know the final measure I would love to register the trophy, I will send you my SCI # once I find it. The mouflons were lucky this time around, we will just have to try again next year. Thank you for the use of your rifle it was perfect, the lodge is very nice and the sheep collection that your dad was able to accomplish is great, I am a sheep hunter myself and I do admire the hunters that hunt these beautiful animals.

Hi Kristin:

I just got home and had to send an e-mail and tell you how great the hunt
was. That Ranch is fantastic! I enjoyed just driving around and looking at the animals. I'm so happy with the monster Aoudad I took and look forward to coming back and finding his grandfather! Ike was great, in fact I would rate him as one of the most enjoyable guides I have hunted with.

He was extremely pleasant to ride around with and was willing to help in any way possible. He knew where to find the animals and made it a choice experience that I won't soon forget! I will definitly be back and I want to make sure that Ike is my guide again!

You really have a beautiful ranch with great Trophies! I have hunted at least 10 different ranches in Texas alone and this was one of the tops especially for Aoudad! I told Ike I want to go after one with my crossbow when they start to rut.

So plan on me and probably another friend when that begins.

Once again thanks for taking me on such a last minute notice, it was great!
